Doctor Don Luis de Betanzos y Figueroas, et al, Instructions to Francisco Favia Mancareñas

Instructions to Francisco Favia Mancareñas, executor of the will of Doña María Jaguada, to pay one hundred and eighty pesos to Padre Maestro Fray Juan Martín Maldonado, sacristan of the convent of San Agustín in La Plata, mostly to defray the cost of reciting masses, as requested in her will. Dated Los Reyes, 23rd August 1656. Signed by Doctor Don Luis de Betanzos y Figueroas, Inquisitor of the Lima tribunal, 1642-1659; Licenciate Diego García Martinez Cabezas, Inquisitor at Lima, 1658; Doctor Don Bernardo de Izaguirre, Inquisitor at Lima, 1655; and Pedro de Loarte y Heredia, secretary to the tribunal in Lima. A continuation, dated 26th August 1656, confirming the payment, is signed by Fray Juan Martín Maldonado, Francisco Antonio Otero, notary of the Inquisition, and two witnesses resident at Lima.
